    Reverend McArthur Sanders has been married to Minister Marilyn A. Sanders for over 45 years. They have three beloved children: Vershawn Ward(Reverend Raymond Ward), Pastor Milan Sanders (Evangelist Kim Sanders), and Brea Sanders. They have also been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren Jailen Ellis, Suree Sanders, and Jylan Sanders

    Pastor Sanders has been blessed to achieve much in his personal and professional life. Truly God has been gracious in showing favor to this man of God! Educated in both the State of Alabama and Illinois, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL. Selected to receive an athletic scholarship at a private Presbyterian College has afforded him the opportunity to complete many courses in Bible and Theology. Pastor Sanders has furthered his study of God’s Word through courses at Moody Bible Institute. A man of many talents and expertise, he is also trained in Pharmaceutical Sales and C.L.U Certified.

    Pastor Sanders continues to build relationships in his community by serving as a mentor in the Young Men’s Mentoring group at the local high school and widens his horizons by attending Leadership conferences, conventions, and seminars. He has served as an Associate Minister, Sunday School Superintendent, Asst. Treasure, Board President, Teacher, Nursing Home Ministry Team, and Brotherhood Ministry for organizations in the south suburban area.

    Minister Marilyn A. Sanders serves as Co Pastor and founding member of Inner Changing Word Christian Church where we focus on “Loving People Through Their Change” while preaching and teaching the way to become true disciples of Christ Jesus. Minister Sanders serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Inner Changing Word Christian Ministries Inc., established for the purpose of reaching out and building up our community, pursuing opportunities to bless all those whom the Lord brings into our presence.

    As I pressed toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, I am committed to living according to the word of God, seeking Him in prayer; helping others strengthen their prayer life and live out the plan God has for them. I have a passion for helping young women to live out their true potential according to the word of God!

    Having humbly submitted to the call and purpose for our lives, my husband of 35 years, Pastor McArthur Sanders my son Pastor Milan Sanders and I stand in our purpose and calling. I am blessed to be a part of a threefold cord which cannot be easily broken; Ecc.4:12b. Truly God has been good to me, having been blessed to be a minister of this great Gospel of Jesus Christ, a Pastor’s wife and a mother of three, Vershawn, Milan (Evangelist Kim) and Brea. I am blessed to share my life with grandsons Jailen Ellis and Jylan Sanders and my granddaughter Suree Sanders.

    A forty-nine year resident of the South Suburbs, Minister Sanders was born in Mobile, Alabama, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, AL and continued courses of study in the field of Geography and Statistics from Governor State University and Chicago State. A 45 year Federal Employee, she currently serves as the Regional Director of the U.S. Census Bureau. In 1999 Minister Sanders accepted the appointment and call to preach, at St. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she was ordained in 2004.

    Who then am I, consider me a disciple of Christ a praying woman, one who believes and trust in the true and living God, call me blessed …for the Lord God has shown such great favor in my life. You see He has promised me that my family would be an example before men blessed beyond measure. I walk and live each day in the blessing of the Lord. A minister of the gospel dedicated and committed to service.
